Lol no. Of all the sleazy and greasy millionaires, Gates is one of the few whose actions speaks for themselves. Dude has been doing noble causes for most of my life.
I’m all for talking shit about the rich, but it better be true.
Compulsive comment editor, all in good faith.

What if they both did
Another unnecessarily aggressive asshole on the web, what’s new.
Literally the first thing I checked after your first message, and I did check with other sources as well. We’re in the West whether we want to or not.
E: And I also want to add that your “what has your country done recently” is puzzling because we’re seeing some good changes happening for the better, and after so long. We’re the only Western country that I know to have held a democratic vote on its entire judicial branch as a direct measure by our madam president for fighting entrenched corruption and nepotism. The result has been surprisingly positive, and I consider it a good move regardless of the ideological differences that I have with the new Courts. I may not get my legal weed plants anytime soon, but I’m all in for transparency and better governance. We seem to be flying under the radar, even though we’ve been upholding the values of the Western world to make every bleeding heart Midwestern liberal proud (and yet somehow, we’re still not quite ever good enough for Canada, ffs 😂).
No, they’re questions to determine how involved you are in Western foreign policy.
With Iran. We’re not operating here in isolation.
But sure, if you’re interested in speaking politics, then please qualify with Western bloc. Because, for all intents and purposes, we’re part of the modern West, whether we want to be or not.
Those are questions to determine if you’re at war with Iran.
Then they can stop following daddy USA’s party line and do something, anything to differentiate themselves from America’s little gang of imperialists.
We have done quite a few, actually. That’s my entire point.
I’m not about to start splitting hairs about which definition to use for the West. Although it largely depends on how the West is defined, most often than not we’re included in the Western civilization by cultural and political overlap, and also by proximity.
And even if you don’t consider us part of the West, I will speak out on behalf of the rest of Latin American continent that, save for whatever the hell is happening with Bukele kissing fash ass, they’ve largely kept out of things and they are unquestionably part of the Western bloc proper.
Lumping people together like this is just gross. It’s much like when people call all Asians Chinese because they can’t bother with the differences and it just sounds inappropriate.
Because your administration is elected
I’m Mexican. My administration is at best getting dragged down into this. I mean, our democracy is stronger than it has ever been and directly opposes 47.
Because the things we blame the West for are done using your tax dollars by politicians you elect.
Not my tax dollars, not my politicians, not my elections.
Humanity? I didn’t have a say in any of this shit.
But I have to ask, why is it that easterners are so ready to blame everyone on this side of the world in bulk every time? I’ve even heard “the hubris of the west”. No, fuck that, the hubris of the few in the West.
Do you realize there’s more going on than the US over here? If you mean the US administration, then say the US administration. Why involve everyone else?
The fucking irony.
I heard Trump was the goodest at keeping peace, and he was definitely not going to drag the USA into another war. He couldn’t possibly!
And every movement arises suspicion. One of them jumped when the other reached for his phone in his pocket
