Yeah, that was never true, just delusional and wishful thinking. The region has always been relevant that’s why the Greeks in 324 BC and the Romans in 26 BC coveted it long before oil.

The US charges its people international prices and not based on local extraction costs.
1·9 days agoPlot twist: there are no phones, the whole thing is a scheme to rip off people for $64.70. Enough money to make the scam worth it, not enough for people to put in the time and effort to reclaim their money unless their credit card will compensate them.
Trump is after Iran’s eggs, I guess. He promised the people of the US lower egg prices, he will get them from Iran.
How can people in the US be okay with this? Their quality of life has only decreased since Bush 2 started his wars of terror. A propagandized population driven to hate others and rally behind the president.
As unlikely as it may be, I hope the US loses quickly and decisively against Iran. Not in 20 years from now like in Afghanistan, but soon. I don’t know what cards Iran has, what leverage they may have, but I hope they have something that enables them to inflict pain.
Why would a population living under a military occupation since 1967 do such a thing? And why would the world see a genocide as the most important crisis?
Putin, of course.
Israel has nuclear weapons, its neighbours that it threatens have every right to nuclear weapons. You just want Israel to achieve its expansionist goals with no pushback.
Why should Israel have nuclear weapons but not Iran?
How is Putin worse than Netanyahu? Just compare the children death toll in Palestine vs. Ukraine.
The puppet regimes of Jordan and Egypt won’t last forever. When they fall, the settlers will find themselves up against over 200 million Arabs in their immediate vicinity.

Oil going up in price won’t be necessarily a bad thing, oil is underpriced relative to historical highs.
