It really hasn’t been established. The courts have ruled against him repeatedly, and most of the time trump gives in just like all of the masterful negotiations he is part of.
The things trump gets away with are the result of poorly written laws that were intentionally left vague so that the people who wrote them could someday take advantage of the vagueness themselves.
That said. How many trump associates from his first term ended up in jail or having major monetary settlements against them. There always seems to be more people willing to roll the dice for trump. That is something I wish we could better understand so that we could counter it.
Do they manufacture them in Ukraine? I always assumed they got them for elsewhere.
Shame they don’t mention what she is allergic to.
Well, it’s mostly true. I mean this isn’t normal civil unrest. This is the people being fed up with a government trying to use fear as a weapon against it’s own people. And the mob violence isn’t generally preventing federal officers from doing what they want, it is in response to it. There is some mob shouting preventing some federal officers ftom doing what they want.
But issue at hand is that the law is very vague about the quantity needed to trigger the allowance of using the national guard. By just reading it, ICE could send a single agent to arrest 5 people in a facility that has 500. If the people stop the arrests, then it meets the written requirements. It ludicrous though to interpret it that way of course. But since it was written so poorly, we are at the mercy of the courts.
I meant like ICE agents bringing fake ID so it had someone elses name on it and stuff. That wouldn’t be impersonating law enforcement since they technically are.
Id would be trivial to fake. So either way it wouldn’t solve much without a hefty penalty for using a fake one.
That’s basically victim blaming. You are implying they have a choice to be less gullible? And yeah, it is a large group, the size of it doesn’t really matter. The powers that be are taking advantage of the masses for thier own purposes. And they know they are doing it.
