That was a nightmare I’ll never recover from. That laptop is now running windows 11. It’s what made me promise myself to never ever touch Nvidia ever again. I’m now all Red on my desktop and life is so much better.

As long as the graphics isn’t that hybrid Nvidia Optimus or whatever the hell they call it, you’re good. That hybrid shit was a nightmare to get working, and it never worked right either.

I do this literally every single day from my Linux machine with no issues. In fact, right before i came to lemmy, I transferred a 120GB game folder from my windows drive to my Linux one.

I dual boot and and I have 4TB HDD that is also formatted to NTFS. I can access both from my Linux system, and move files between the two, with ntfs-3g all the time. I even have them both automount on boot and have never had an issue.

Until this post, I’ve always thought this paragon software was to be used on Windows to access the Linux ext4/btrsf… Etc drives!

6.4 broke progress bar on file transfers (already reported a bug), slso also the new interface file transfer is ugly, too busy and missing the part where it tells you how many GB of your file has been transferred. I hate it. Sometimes things don’t have to change just for the sake of change. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
