This article is better than I expected.

I thought it was going to be overly credulous nonsense about what the strategy is for an operation that is clearly a purely selfish gimmick to keep Bibi in power at the expense of Israel’s long term reputation, security, and stability.

Overall, this author appears to be using dry sarcasm to allude to the fact that the emperor obviously has no clothes.

It makes me sad that Jewish Israelis let Bibi puppeteer them like this. It’s unfortunate, and it reminds me that at least until something changes, change will have to come from abroad. I think American Jews are probably the greatest hope for an intervention. But it’s not a hopeful situation.

It’s very clear. Destroy the capabilities of any country supporting palestine and put puppet regimes instead

Honestly, I don’t think this is really correct. It’s not a bad take, I just think the truth is that no one really wants more than violence for the sake of power.

Iran has never really supported Palestine, they just arm anyone who will attack Israel. And claiming that Netanyahu wants to install a puppet leader is giving him away too much credit. He wants nothing more than an indefinite war so he can start in power. He’ll fight in Iran until something shocking happens like a terrorist attack from the West Bank and then he’ll shake the etch a sketch and do all this again. And again. And again. Until anyone with sufficient power stops him.

I mean Iran is giving arms to resistance group so they are helping Palestinians. It’s just that Iran does it for it’s own geopolitical interests and not because they love Palestinians.

Netanyahu wants to install a puppet leader is giving him away too much credit. He wants nothing more than an indefinite war so he can start in power.

You forget that Israel was always a settler colonial project with an ethnic and religious supremacist ideology. It’s so naive to think that if Netanyahu regime fall , Israel will give up control on Gaza and the west bank . Even Rabin had that the same supremacist ideology

This is so obvious I do not understand why anyone doubts it.

In the lead up to the attacks:

      • Iran was about to get into Nuclear talks again.

      • Countries were about to come together to work on a road map to a two state solution, which the US is also threatening countries against attending.

-Political good will was almost dried up for the ongoing Genocide, and so Israel needed to attack a country everyone agrees is okay to attack. This increases support, and covers up aforementioned genocide.

This happens every time a two state solution becomes a possible reality, or starts being discussed.

No, Israel don’t need a war with Iran to continue genocide, like i said they want to destroy any country that help Palestinians defend itself from genocide and occupation. The two state solution was never close to be a possible reality . You got fooled by the west smoke screen actions.

Whatever you say bud. Maybe try not fighting people who opened with “I agree with you” and then elaborated their own points without you ever once elaborating on yours if you want to speak with adults.

Where do you see that we agreed . I think you was wrong what’s the problem? Why are you making a big deal of my comment? Why do you think you can dictate what i should elaborate and what i shouldn’t. You are definitely not the adult in the room

Whatever you say bud. Try learning to read before you try to write in the future because the opening of my first comment to you is “This is so obvious I do not understand why anyone doubts it.” and continued to elaborate on the reason behind why I agree.

The fact that you cannot see that demonstrates your absolute lack of good faith here and no further need for me to continue with you.

It’s you who should learn of to read. You said that Netanyahu start the war just to switch the attention from Gaza to Iran while my position is that Netanyahu does it to destroy anybody who finance resistance group. I don’t understand how it is hard for you to see that our position are not exactly the same
