Seems like a lot of tax dollars being wasted, as well as a ton of taxed income no longer coming in either. How anyone thinks any of this is a good idea is beyond crazy.
As a non American, I also wonder how much of money will be lost due to them suing.
This is why I fucking hate paying federal taxes in California. They want to tax me 34% so they can kidnap people, start wars, etc.
So then stop paying them. The IRS has been gutted by DOGE; they don’t have the resources to pursue tax dodgers anymore.
